1. About The Property

The Midsommar is a Himalayan village homestay, nature stay and camping experience located in Rangtoli near Gopeshwar, Chamoli, Uttarakhand.

Important:
The Midsommar is located in a Himalayan rural/pahadi area. Guests should be comfortable with simple mountain living and natural surroundings.

2. This Is Not a 5-Star Hotel

The Midsommar is not a 5-star hotel or luxury resort. Guests choose us for nature, peace, village life, local food and outdoor experiences.

Because we are located in a mountain village, certain things may be different from a city hotel or luxury resort. Guests may experience uneven village paths, insects, natural sounds, changing weather, occasional power interruptions, limited infrastructure, variable water availability and other conditions associated with rural Himalayan living.

You may need to adjust to the mountains and the local environment. That is part of the experience at The Midsommar.

3. Booking

A booking enquiry does not automatically confirm a reservation.
Availability must be confirmed by The Midsommar.
A token amount of ₹1,500 may be required to hold/confirm a reservation.
For long stays, special payment terms may apply.

4. Guest Information

Guests must provide accurate information including name, age, mobile number, check-in date, check-out date and number of guests.

5. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in and check-out timings will be communicated at the time of booking. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

6. Guest Behaviour

Please respect the host family, local residents and the surrounding environment.
Do not enter private family areas without permission.
Damage caused to property, furniture or facilities may be chargeable.
Loud music, parties or activities disturbing the local environment may be restricted.
Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions for trekking, camping and outdoor activities.

7. Outdoor Activities

Trekking, camping, village walks, forest walks, temple visits, farming experiences, bird watching and other outdoor activities depend on weather, seasonal access, local conditions and availability.

8. Children & Elderly Guests

Guests travelling with children, elderly persons or guests with mobility/accessibility requirements should inform us before booking so that suitable arrangements and property conditions can be discussed.

9. Natural & Local Conditions

Mountain weather and road conditions can change quickly. Guests are responsible for planning their journey accordingly and following local travel and safety advice.

10. Changes to Terms

The Midsommar may update these terms when required. The terms applicable at the time of the confirmed booking will normally apply, subject to applicable law.
